Behind the wheel of the custom le Mans model was Paul Drayson who managed to achieve a high speed of 204.2 mph (328.63 km/h) in Yorkshire at a track at RAF Elvington. He took down the recent record of a hundred seventy five mph (281.64 km/h) that was established back in 1974 by Battery Box General electrical.

The Lola B12 69/EV le Mans model has an output of 850 bhp (634 kW) because of its four electrical motors and a light-weight 30 kWh battery pack. Some modifications were created to the recycled carbon fiber chassis so as to lower air friction. It will perform the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run in three seconds whereas 0-100 mph (0-161 km/h) takes 5.1 sec.
